Timeless Baseball League

TBL: Timeless Baseball League — Yesterday's Legends. Tomorrow's Box Score.

Draft Pedro's 2000, Bonds' 2001 and Rickey's best legs onto one club. Multiple leagues run at once, each with its own owners, and the sim plays a game every night while you sleep.

1 · Open a league

A commissioner creates the league, sets teams, season length, era and categories, then shares the join code.

2 · Claim your club

Every owner signs in, joins with the code, names their club and marks ready. The draft unlocks when all seats are filled.

3 · Snake draft legends

Pick real single-season cards — 2000-present by default, back to 1985 if the commissioner opens the vault. Miss your turn and autodraft covers you.

4 · One game a night

At 3:00 AM Eastern every league plays the next game of the week. Watch the category race move each morning; the week is scored when the series ends.

Questions from the stands

What is the Timeless Baseball League (TBL)?
A head-to-head fantasy baseball game played with real single-season cards from baseball history. You draft seasons like Pedro Martinez 2000 or Barry Bonds 2001 and they perform the way they actually did.
How are games decided?
Every plate appearance is resolved with log5 odds-ratio blending of the batter's rates, the pitcher's rates and the era-adjusted league average, then run through a 24 base-out state model. Results are seeded, so a league's games are consistent every time they are viewed.
When do games play?
One game of the week is simulated for every active league at 3:00 AM Eastern each night. Weeks are scored on categories once the series finishes, so the race moves a little every morning.
How many people can play?
Up to 12 owners per league, and any number of leagues can run at the same time. The commissioner shares a join code; unclaimed seats are run by the computer.
Which seasons are available?
The top 200 players from every season since 1985. Commissioners choose the card era — 2000-present by default, or open the vault back to 1990 or 1985 for a deeper pool.
Is it free?
Yes. Timeless Baseball League is a free hobby project with no entry fees, prizes or wagering.
Outcomes resolved per plate appearance with log5 odds-ratio blending of batter, pitcher, and era-adjusted league-average rates.
